Description: Project for Capacity Building Initiatives of WUAs under Rajasthan Minor Irrigation Improvement Project (RAJAMIP)
RAJAMIIP project is one of the externally funded projects with the major development objective to increase the agricultural productivity in the state of Rajasthan with low rainfall by rehabilitating existing minor irrigation facilities interspersed in the state and improving water management and agriculture practices, thereby enhancing agriculture income and alleviating the poverty.
ALERT has been entrusted with capacity building of water users' associations in Bhilwara-I circle comprising 49 sub-projects in Raipur, Sahara, Banera, Jahajpur, Asind, and Hurda blocks in Bhilwara District. Activities for strengthening 49 sub-projects for ultimate takeover of irrigation management by WUAs were undertaken during the project implementation phase. Formed 49 water management committees among 80 local village's and 17649 GB Members Capacitate . Organized capacity-building workshops for water resource management and carried out water-conservation awareness drives in villages throughout Bhilwara District. following out comes are as below.
1. Socio-economic baseline survey was carried out to collect the baseline data from 3530 sampled households (covering 20 percent GB A total number of 49 animators were identified under the circle of ALERT to represent all 49 sub projects members) and 80 villages.
2. Total 49 mass awareness camps were successfully organizing with participation of total 2673 GB members .
3. Total 49 WUA-TSGs were formed under the ALERT sub-projects .
4 .Total 1353 farmers were motivated to get their field's soil tested with support of NGO and Agriculture department. In all, 72 farmers got their field soil tested and took advantages up till the reporting period.
5. Strong linkages could be established among WUA members and the government department & institutions like WRD, Agriculture, bank, cooperatives, medical and health department, live stock department etc.

Description: Project conducted in Gogunda Block Project objective was to increase accessibility to maternal health entitlements under the National Rural Health Mission, Organized training programs for health service providers, Formed Gram SwasthyaBaithaks (Village Health Committees), which meet once per month to discuss health issues with the help of service health providers, Organized training programs for Village Health and Sanitation Committees
* Received State and District-level awards for work on Tuberculosis remedial measures under the RNTCP and Membership in District Health Committee

Description: Project conducted in Gogunda and Jhadol Blocks under the Udaipur District Tuberculosis Centre's RNTCP Programme, in conjunction with various other ChildFund India partners Ran a Tuberculosis awareness campaign in Gogunda Block, Established communication with government departments and implemented various government schemes related to TB, Established a Block-level resource centre, Organized trainings for government health workers and local healers, Developed various IEC materials for local community members and healthcare providers, Identified TB patients and provided referral services and transportation to healthcare facilities, Networked and liaised with respective government departments and local Panchayats

Description: Project conducted in Gogunda Block Networked and collaborated with various NGOs from Gogunda Block on mainstreaming efforts to combat HIV/AIDS, Organized capacity-building workshops focused on disseminating information and techniquesto all participating NGOs for work surrounding HIV/AIDS, Formed a resource centre in Gogunda to provide information related to HIV/AIDS

Description: Project conducted amongst children of Gogunda Block In collaboration with Postan AB and ChildFund Brandfonden, ALERT facilitated the exchange of letters to and from Indian children of Gogunda and Swedish children. The project provided a unique way for children of both countries to develop new friendships across the globe and to learn from each other's cultures

Description: Project conducted in Salumber, Kherwara, Sarada, and Girwa Blocks Organization conducted training for 400 Van Sahyogi of in Salumber, Kherwara, Sarada, and Girwa Blocks.The main objective of the training was to increase people's participation and capacity building of youths at local level for the conservation of forest.Under this programme 50 Trainings programme were organized on the basis of training module.

Description: Based on its core strength of mobilization community and panchayat Ran Institution (PRI's) the project was conceived to demonstrate effective role of panchayat in "Biodiversity conservation and enhancement" The Project was implemented in three panchayats namely Dadiya, Paner and Modi of the Gogunda block of Udaipur district. This project "Strengthening role of Gram Shabha and Panchyat in bio diversity" was implemented wotht the support Small Grant Programme (SGP)of Global Environment and Forests(GEF) Funded by United Nation Development Programme(UNDP) AND Ministry of Environment and Forest (MoEF) Government of India and being Facilitated by Center for Environment Education (CEE)
1.Empowering Gram Pnachayat Representative and Community leadership for environment conservation and process for conservation Biodiversity.
2. Improve biodiversity of group and common wastelands (Beed) and increase overall biomass in the project area
3. Revive and re-establishing Nutritive Species of grasses, shrubs & trees.
Out comes :-
80 hectares of common wasteland and 30 hectares of private wasteland were developed in three panchayat
Nearly 100 Species (Including 40 Medicinal Plants) are conserved and Increased vegetative growth in the protected area, resulting in increasing fodder availability,

Description: Project conducted in Paner, Kachaba, and Bagdunda Panchayats Project Mission was to strengthen the Gram Sabhas (Village Panchayats) and to bridge the gap between villagers and Panchayats, Formed People's Awakening Groups (PAGs) and ran Pre-Election Voter Awareness Campaigns (PEVACs) to increase participation and awareness of government, Organized and facilitated capacity-building workshops for community leaders with a particular focus on women in Panchayati Raj, Gave workshops on community micro-planning and provided untied funds to Panchayats for implementing projects according to community priority (community used these funds for well and pond development work and pastureland development) All phases of project were implemented in joint collaboration with relevant governmental departments
